“Cavalry” is an ode to fighting, even when the odds are stacked against us. It’s a song about not letting political fatigue destroy our willingness to tell the truth in power.
With this message the group launches the first single of the new album “The Beirut School”, which will make its debut this year. The song exudes from all pores the essence of this group, a calm and profound harmony, able to take us to the clubs of Beirut, in a night spent with beautiful music. Mashrou ‘Leila restart from the musicality of “Ibn El Leil“, bringing an impactful song that aims to be a first step in the atmosphere of the new album.

This is how “The Beirut School” presents itself in the best possible way, also considering what it represents. The group is keen to celebrate 10 years since its foundation in style and the forecasts regarding the beauty of this new release are skyrocketing. The upcoming big tour is a further confirmation that it is really close to finding out. After witnessing the return of Omar Offendum, A-WA and Lowkey, it’s official: it will be the year of music.
