Once again, we are able to observe the enormous power granted to Allah to all humanity, a freedom so vast and sacred that it is untouchable even for God. Even he, just for the choice to put the man to the test, will be able to do nothing but observe, waiting to donate or chastise at the end of his life. From the verses, however, emerges a fundamental characteristic and always granted to its faithful: salvation.

Is it up to you to force them to be believers?

The 5 verses in question are particularly important and significant both for the biblical episode and for the important teaching that is left to us. In fact, excluding the case of Jonah, no “unbelieving” people managed to “convert”, even ending up devoured by divine punishment. There are many cities, such as Sodom and Gomorrah, which have had the same fate, an almost inevitable episode for those with free will.

Even in these passages, we are able to observe the enormous power granted by Allah to all humanity, a freedom so vast and sacred that it is untouchable even for God. Even he, just for the choice to put the man to the test, will be able to do nothing but observe, waiting to donate or chastise at the end of his life. From the verses, however, emerges a fundamental characteristic and always granted to its faithful: salvation. “Saving believers is our task” in fact underlines how Allah places himself towards them, guaranteeing anyone who independently supports his cause this immense privilege. How much richer will the reward of those who spontaneously choose the good without wanting anything else? To man, and to him alone, the discovery of all this.
